International Shipments & Deliveries

We offer extremely low prices on sending parcels overseas from the UK. We can also take care of your heavier items utilising one of our own dedicated or groupage vehicles, or by assigning your goods to one of our international network partners.

A fully tracked and signed for service for most international destinations is provided at no additional cost, giving you and your shipment’s intended recipient peace of mind whilst your goods are in transit.

Check what you are able to ship internationally

When sending parcels or other items overseas, additional restrictions may be applied by both the carrier or by the destination country.

Although we do have a list of prohibited items that cannot generally be sent by couriers, each nation would have their own restrictions that you need to make yourself aware of. For instance, Canada, the US and other countries around the world have restrictions on the importation of wood and food products. Some restrictions like firearms & narcotics may seem obvious but others may be less so.

It’s therefore crucial that when you book your international parcel or other delivery that you describe the contents of the parcel as clearly and as accurately as possible – so that the courier/carrier has another opportunity to ensure that nothing illegal is being carried.

Taxes & Import Charges

Shipments for delivery outside of the European Union may be subject to additional import Duties & Taxes. Defenda Transport & Logistics Ltd or any of its partners will if requested attempt to establish if and what the charges are likely to be. However, they are variable and are ultimately the responsibility of the sender or recipient. We therefore can accept no responsibility for any taxes, duties or storage charges incurred as a result of the sender failing to familiarise themselves with the import tariffs imposed by the destination country of their shipment.
