Whilst there are no legal height restrictions for goods being moved on British roads there are of course some practical considerations such as bridges & overhead cables.

Highway bridges are generally slightly over 5m high: allowing our flat bed / drop side vehicles with a bed one metre from the road surface to carry items 4 metres in height (with careful route planning).

Some bridges are considerably lower than this so if you are planning to move something tall you will always need to contact us in plenty of time to allow us to plan the route.

For short trips with no bridges or overhead cables to consider we can carry items even taller than 4 metres in height.

It may be necessary to test run the route in advance of transporting your goods & also provide escort vehicles for some loads.
